The App is a free, ad-free voice-first poetry reader for classical Hindi and Urdu shayari. It bundles 374 hand-curated couplets across eight categories (Calm, Motivation, Love, Sad, Friendship, Life, Inspiration, Humor) along with pre-rendered Hindi MP3 narrations and a quiet instrumental music bed. Tap a category, and the App reads couplets aloud back-to-back with karaoke-style word highlighting that follows the recitation. The App runs natively on Android phones, tablets, and Android Automotive OS head units. It does not require an account or any internet connection.
The 374 couplets bundled with the App are public-domain works of classical Hindi and Urdu poets — including Mirza Ghalib, Mir Taqi Mir, Allama Iqbal, Bahadur Shah Zafar, Kabir, Rahim, Tulsidas, Amir Khusrau, Daag Dehlvi, Momin, Khwaja Mir Dard, and Wali Dakhani — together with traditional anonymous couplets and original lines released under CC0 for this App. To the best of our knowledge every couplet is out of copyright in India, the EU, and the United States.
Background music tracks are by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) and are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). The App displays the required attribution on its Settings / About screen.

The App is provided on an "as-is" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, including swapping out individual couplets or background-music tracks. The App does not require an internet connection, so there is no backend availability promise.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. In some jurisdictions (notably under EU consumer-protection law and India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019), certain statutory rights cannot be excluded; those rights are unaffected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halcyon Audio's total liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it (which is zero). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages.
When used in an Android Automotive OS or Android Auto environment, the App follows Google's distraction-free UI requirements: large touch targets, voice-first playback, no scrolling text while driving. The full Hindi/Urdu couplet text and karaoke highlight are automatically hidden when the vehicle is in motion (Driver Distraction Optimization); only the author label and a play indicator remain. Voice playback continues unchanged. You remain responsible for driving safely and complying with all road rules; do not interact with the head unit when doing so would be unsafe or illegal in your jurisdiction.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence requires otherwise. If you are an Indian consumer, you may rely on mandatory provisions of the Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019; if you are an EU consumer, mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence apply. Disputes may be brought in the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea, without prejudice to any mandatory right you have to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
